All-in-one baculovirus expression and titration

A unique dual expression and titration package that harnesses the speed and power of flashBACTM expression with the ease and rapidity of baculoQUANTTM titration

flashBACTM allows the generation of single and multiple recombinant viruses in one easy step by homologous recombination in insect cells, without the need for plaque purification (see flashBACTM Technical Description). baculoQUANTTM is a rapid method for the titration of baculoviruses, being designed to give accurate titres within 2 - 6 hours (depending on number of viruses)1,2.

titrePLUSTM is a new combination kit, bringing together both of the above technologies into a single format, providing a unique ‘off-the-shelf’ solution to making recombinant viruses.

Using this kit researchers can rapidly make single or multiple recombinant viruses in a single step procedure and then obtain  titre(s) on the same day as harvest.

  • Rapid production and titration of single and multiple recombinant viruses in a single kit format
  • Cost-efficient and economic with easy to follow protocols
  • flashBACTM is compatible with all transfer vectors based on homologous recombination in insect cells
  • Contains flashBACTM DNA, control transfer vector, baculoQUANTTM probe/primers
  • Available in 5 reaction and 24 reaction size kits

Both flashBACTM and baculoQUANTTM are also available in separate kit formats.
